Arrangement of Featured Areas on Jalan Kalibata Timur I Reaches 50 Percent

The progress of arranging the Featured Area for the First Quarter 2024 on Jalan Kalibata Timur I, RT 01/08, Kalibata Urban Village, Pancoran Sub-district, South Jakarta, has now touched 50 percent.

Kalibata Urban Village Head, Herman said the land being arranged is unkempt land, which is often used as an illegal parking area and a place to store junk items by irresponsible individuals.

"We also get support from the Jakarta Maritime, Agricultural and Food Security Agency for the needs of productive plants and Jakarta Transportation Agency for assistance with traffic support equipment," he explained.

He explained the arrangement, which begins in early January 2024 was targeted for completion by the end of next March. To maximize it, residents were also involved for routine maintenance.

"Hopefully, everything goes smoothly and residents can always maintain a clean environment and make better use of empty land in the area," he hoped.

One of the residents, Heru (42) admitted He said that the arrangements made were very useful and good because previously the location looked chaotic due to the large number of cars parked illegally and sometimes became a place to store junk goods.
